You can change the view and appearance of your model, as well as save views for future use. Most View menu items are available in the FEA Editor and Results environments.
To change your model orientation,
Navigate
Orientation. The <Current View> in the User-Defined Views dialog box is shown in the display area. If you rename this view, you also save the current view.
Save the current view as a new entry:

Visual Style to choose between two different displays. The setting changes how the mesh is shown and what color displays when you perform a surface selection.

Surface), the mesh lines and surface are the same color when CAD Surfaces is active. This makes it easier to distinguish different surfaces in the model. When CAD Surfaces is not active, the mesh lines are the color associated with the surface number, but the surface shading is gray. Click View

Shaded to shade your model with no edges (feature lines) or mesh lines. Only the faces of the CAD model or elements are shaded.

Show Local Zoom to magnify a portion of the model. When active, the magnifier window is visible in the center of the display area. A preview window shows the magnified image in a corner of the display. The magnifier window anchors to the screen so changes in model orientation do not effect the window.
To move the magnifier window, place the cursor inside its border. The cursor changes to a double arrow icon. Hold down the left mouse button to drag the magnifier window to a new location.
To rotate your model in the display area, do the following:

No Shading When Moving Model. To zoom in or out on your model, do the following:

Mouse Options. The Mouse Options also defines alternate key combinations to zoom using the mouse. Alternatively, you can press down the mouse wheel and the <Shift> key and drag the curser around the screen. You can also rotate the mouse wheel to zoom in or out.
To zoom in or out on your model, click View

Window and define the opposite corners of your rectangle.
If the CTRL key is held, the mouse clicks define the center and corner of the rectangle.
To pan your model view, do the following:

To display the previous view of your model, click View

Previous View. Click the command again to return to the original view.
To display your entire model in the display, click View

Enclose. The orientation of your model does not change.
In the FEA Editor environment, click View

Color By to select the property (part, surface, layer or edge) that defines the color for mesh lines (and edges of a CAD model).
If you select Part or Surface, the model (or elements) and mesh lines display in that color. For other properties, the mesh lines use the appropriate color, but the model (or element) shading follows

Create Solid Mesh. To apply a load to nodes inside the solid, display the interior lines so that you can select the nodes. Click View

Perform solid meshing at time of analysis before generating the surface mesh. Alternatively, select the parts to solid mesh, right-click, and choose CAD Mesh Options
Create Solid Mesh. Also, it is not necessary to display the interior lines when you apply a load to the part.
