Select the full pressiometric method in the Foundations - Soil dialog. Click Curve definition to define a curve resulting from pressiometric soil measurements. Definition of the curve is available for calculations by means of the full pressiometric method according to the French codes DTU 13.12 and Fascicule 62 Titre V.
In the left side of the dialog is a table where successive points of a curve can be defined by specifying a measurement depth and the limit pressure at a given depth.
In the right side of the dialog the defined curve is presented. Activate Show soil layers to display soil layers and the foundation geometry.
The top section of the dialog holds the Horizontal stresses field. It is necessary to determine how to define a curve: considering the initial horizontal stress or not.
If the pl* (considering the inital stress) option is selected, values defined by the user are used directly to calculate the equivalent value ple*.
If the pl (without considering the initial stress) option is selected, values defined by the user will be reduced by the initial horizontal stress (i.e. stress brought to the net value pl*).
The bottom section of the dialog holds the Save As and Read buttons. When clicked, a defined curve is saved to a text file (in the *.prs format) or an earlier defined curve is opened, respectively.
