The Load pattern option defines influence surfaces for plate and shell structures.

The Load pattern option is available for the following structure types: plate design and shell design.
- Load surface
- Specify the panel on which an influence surface will be generated.
- Select a panel or list of panels from the drawing area, or enter their number in the Panel box.
- Definition of influence surface

- Add
- Opens the Definition of Influence Surface dialog which allows you to define a new influence surface.
- Modify
- Select an influence surface from the list, and then click Modify to change the definition of an existing surface.
- Delete
- Deletes the selected influence surface from the list.
