Time function definition - adding functions

Select the Adding a function tab in the Time function definition dialog to add values of two defined time functions.

The value of the resultant function is interpolated at the points with common abscissae. Each of the defined functions may be multiplied by a user defined coefficient.

To add two time functions, do the following.

  1. Select the first time function in the list of available functions.
  2. Click → in Function 1.
  3. Enter the coefficient value for the first time function in the Coefficient field.
  4. Select the second time function in the list of available functions.
  5. Click → in Function 2.
  6. Enter the coefficient value for the second time function in the Coefficient field.
  7. Enter a name for the function in the Name field.
  8. Click Summation.

The resulting function will be added to the list of available time functions.
