Start the Industry Model Editor

To start the Industry Model Editor

1. In the Infrastructure Administrator, do one of the following:
   • Click Enterprise and connect to the enterprise industry model. Open a project.
   • Click File and open an industry model drawing or template.
2. Click Setup menu > Industry Model Editor.

   Industry Model Editor dialog box	Description
   Version	Display the version of the data model file. When you create the data model file, the version is set to 1.0.0. Click the button to clone the current version and create a new one. You can enter a new version number.
   Data Model Explorer tab	Display the data model structure and the database objects.
   Search tab	Use search tools.
   Properties	Display a grid to edit the properties of the selected element.
   File menu	Create, open, or export a data model (a resource .resx file for use in translation).
   Edit menu	Create or update the XML file from the database schema, and edit the properties of the data model.
   View menu	Display previous versions of the data model.
