To export data model updates

You can export modifications to the (*.genx) file.

1. In the Infrastructure Administrator, do one of the following:
   • Click Enterprise and connect to the enterprise industry model . Open a project with access to the industry model to update.
   • Click File and open a project with access to the industry model to update.
2. Start the Industry Model Editor.
3. Click Edit menu > Create From Database Schema.
4. Log in to the industry model to modify.
5. Optionally, save the data model file.
6. Use Infrastructure Administrator to add your modifications.

   For example, add domain values.

7. In the Industry Model Editor, click Edit menuCreate From Database Schema.
8. Click File menu > Save.
9. Click View menu > View Version History.

   The (*.genx) file stores the modifications you have made using Infrastructure Administrator in a separate version.

10. Close the Industry Model Editor.
