Positioning of structure elements

Using Autodesk AutoCAD Structural Detailing - Formwork Drawings, you can automatically position objects defined in a structure model. You can position any object selected from the Model tab of the Object Inspector dialog or any part of a structure, such as a story.

By positioning elements, you:

• Assign an identifier (position) to each element
• Detect all identical and differing elements in individual groups
• Count identical elements in individual items.

To run the Positioning command:

1. In the structure model tree, select a whole structure (story) or a structure part (element)
2. Right-click, and click Automatic positioning.
