On the Description elements tab of the Description Style dialog, you can define settings such as colors, line thickness, font size, and font style of the element description.
There are 3 methods of element description:
For all elements except slabs and raft foundations

Define description elements:
- Under Position name, specify font color, style, and size parameters for a position name from Object Inspector.
- Under Description text, specify font color, style, size, and distance (to the auxiliary line) for a structure element description.
- Under Extension line, define parameters for a line that connects a structure element description with a structure element:
- For beams, columns, walls, spread footings, and continuous footings - specify color, thickness, arrowhead, and arrow size.
- For slabs - specify color and thickness of the line.
The options in this field are available if you selected the second or third method of element description.
- Under Label, define the color, line thickness, shape, and size of the label positioned on the end of the extension line.
The options in this field are available if you selected the third method of element description.
Example of descriptions are illustrated in the drawings below. Take note that a position name has other text parameters (larger font) than the description text:
