To Delete Profile Sub-Entities

When you delete a curve, the straights on either side of the curve are preserved. If the straights were joined when they were created, the straights are joined at the VIP after the curve is deleted.

Note: You cannot delete a straight that has a curve attached to it. Before deleting a straight, you must first delete the VIP and any dependent curves and straights.

To delete a sub-element from the Profile Layout Tools dialog box

1. Click the profile. Click Profile tabModify Profile panelGeometry Editor.
2. On the Profile Layout Tools toolbar, click Delete Entity.

   If you do not see the button, click

   Element Based to change to an element-based view.
3. In the drawing window, select a sub-element to delete.

To delete a sub-element using the Delete key

1. Ctrl+click the profile sub-element you want to delete.
2. Press Delete.
