Uninstalling 3ds Max with Softimage from a Windows OS

You can uninstall 3ds Max with Softimage from a Windows OS via the Control Panel. If you wish to uninstall both products, it is recommended that you use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.

Depending on whether you want to uninstall the 3ds Max with the Softimage product or just one of the two products, choose the appropriate procedure.

To uninstall 3ds Max or Softimage from a Windows OS 7 Service Pack 1:

1. Left-click the Windows Start button and choose Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel, select to view the contents by Category if required.
3. Under the Programs Category, click Uninstall a program.
4. Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2015 or Autodesk Softimage 2015 and click Uninstall/Change.
5. Follow the uninstallation instructions.

To uninstall 3ds Max or Softimage from a Windows OS 8:

1. Left-click the Windows Start screen All Apps Control Panel Programs.
2. Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2015 or Autodesk Softimage 2015 and click Uninstall/Change.
3. Follow the uninstallation instructions.
