The SurfDeform modifier works the same way as the PatchDeform modifier, except that it uses a NURBS Point or CV surface instead of a patch surface to apply surface deformation.
Select an object. > Modify panel > Modifiers List > Object Space Modifiers > SurfDeform
Select an object. > Modify panel > Modifiers List > World Space Modifiers > SurfDeform (WSM)

Procedures
To use the SurfDeform modifier:
Select an object.
From the Modify panel Modifier List, choose Object Space Modifiers SurfDeform.
On the Parameters rollout, click Pick Surface.
Select a NURBS Point or CV surface.
Deform the object by adjusting the controls in the Surface Deform group.
