Use the Stop operator to halt particles immediately; you can stop particles' linear motion or rotational motion, or both. Alternatively, use the Stop Gradually test to cause particles to slow down and then stop.
Note: The Stop operator affects only incoming particles, so for the halting action to be effective throughout the event, the event shouldn't contain any other operators that affect speed or spin, such as Force.

Stop Type group
- Position
- When on, each particle stops linear (that is, non-rotational) motion fully at the moment it enters the event containing the Stop operator. Default=on.
- Rotation
- When on, each particle stops rotational motion fully at the moment it enters the event containing the Stop operator. This type of motion is typically caused by the Spin operator, but other operators and tests can also cause it, such as Go To Rotation. Default=on.
