Defines the material used for building objects.

If this material is loaded into the 3ds Max Design Material Editor from the Civil View Explorer, typically it appears in Slot 8.

Building Object Bitmaps

These material channels are defined automatically by the contents of the /matlibs/buildingmaps folder in the current Civil View Country Resource Kit.

When this material definition is created for first time in any visualization scene, the image files situated in this folder are listed in alphabetical order with each of these images, resulting in a separate material channel being added to this material definition.

For this reason, it is good practice to include a numerical prefix within each image name to clearly indicate which material channel will receive the image. For example:

03-Bricks.jpg

04-Stonewall.jpg

This list of images would result in a material consisting of four channels, and it is very easy to identify which material channel will feature which image file.
