Spline Draping Tool

Lets you drape shape objects over a surface.

This tool is particularly useful for modifying imported 2D shapes that need to be draped onto a road surface in order to apply road-marking geometry.

Draping Style group

Choose whether to drape the selected shape objects onto a selected surface or over a specified level or elevation.

  • Drape over a surface (The default.) Drapes the shapes over a surface.
  • Drape over a constant level Drapes the shapes at a constant level.
Tip: With this option, 3D shapes become 2-dimensional.
