Apply Boundary Conditions

Create a boundary condition that fixes one end of the beam.

1. Switch to the Load module.
2. Create a boundary condition (BC > Create) of type Displacement/Rotation and name it Fixed_End.
3. Select the faces that lie on the YZ-plane at X=0. These faces are highlighted below.
4. Set the values for U1, U2, and U3 to 0. Click OK.
