In this step we specify the field output requests to be sent to the results file for post-processing. To examine the results produced by Advanced Material Exchange, you must request output of state dependent variables (SDVs).
- Select and click Edit in the dialog that appears.
- Add SDV to the list of Output Variables by checking the SDV box shown below. The state variables will now be printed in the Abaqus output file (.odb).
Tip: To decrease the size of the .odb file and decrease the time spent writing data to the .odb file, it is good practice to output only the variables used in post-processing. As shown below, several of the default Output Variables have been unselected.
- Click OK and click Dismiss.
