Modeling and detailing enhancements in Advance Steel 2015.1

• Rollover tooltips: Advance Steel object properties are available in CUI customization for rollover tooltips
• New notification dialog for e.g. numbering result in same design as e.g. the clash check result display
• A new beam to beam moment connection including weld preparation and backing bar settings is available
• A new columns stiffener brick in alignment to two secondary beam flanges is available
• A new functionality to define the influence area (suction distance) for plate shortenings including a new visual presentation including grip point
• Multi User: grid lines can be snapped to with intersection object snap
• Automatic angle dimensions are available in beam weld preparation views
• Smart dimension now works on intermediary points from polybeams
• Smart dimension selection is available for radial dimensions
• Objects from third party applications (e.g. Plant 3D) can be shown on Advance Steel drawings and also labeled with the information provided through the Object Enabler
