Edit keypoint curves

How to move, reshape, and edit keypoint curves.

Move a keypoint

1. Choose Keypoint Curve Tools > Drag Keypoints.
2. Drag a keypoint to move it.
   Note:

   If you edit a keypoint curve that is maintaining a relationship with another curve (such as tangency), the relationship will be lost.

Edit the attributes of a keypoint curve

1. Pick the keypoint curve.
2. Choose Windows > Information > Information Window.
3. Open the Attributes section and edit the settings.

Split a keypoint curve

1. Choose Keypoint Curve Tools > Break & Join > Break Curve at Keypoint.
   
2. Click a keypoint on a keypoint curve.

Join two keypoint curves

The two curves must overlap at their endpoint.

1. Choose Keypoint Curve Tools > Break & Join > Join Curves.
   
2. Click on the overlapping keypoint at the end of the curves.
   Note:

   You can also join regular curves by clicking on the overlapping edit points at the end of the curves.
