To Work With Adaptive Degradation

Adaptive degradation is a way to control performance of effects as you use them.

With adaptive degradation on, if performance goes below the number of frames per second (FPS) you specify, effects are turned off or turned down in a certain order until performance returns to an acceptable level.

Toggle Adaptive Degradation

  1. At the Command prompt, enter -GRAPHICSCONFIG.
  2. Enter a (Adaptive Degradation) and select a mode.

Set the Performance Level for Adaptive Degradation

  1. At the Command prompt, enter -GRAPHICSCONFIG.
  2. Enter a (Adaptive Degradation) and select ON mode.
  3. Enter a number of frames per second.
