To Add or Remove a Watched Folder with Content Explorer

1. Open the Configuration Console.
2. Make sure that Content Service (localhost) is selected in the list of Content Providers.
3. Click Add Watched Folder to open the Select Watched Folder dialog box.
4. Navigate to the folder that you want to add, select it, and click OK.

   The folder is added to the watched folder list.

5. To remove a folder, right-click the folder in the Watched Folders list and select Remove.

   The folder is no longer available for searching or browsing with Content Explorer.

6. To refresh the watched folders list at any time, click Refresh .

Note: There are other ways of adding a local watched folder. Click the Content Provider drop-down arrow and select the Local provider. Then drag and drop folders from Windows Explorer onto Content Explorer, or click Add Watched Folder at the bottom of the Content Explorer window.
