Yes, the password protection that can be applied to a drawing file with the SAVEAS command can be disabled through the Windows Control Panel by removing the Drawing Encryption feature from the product install.

Note: This action disables only the ability to password protect a drawing file. Drawing files previously saved with a password can still be opened, inserted, or referenced.
