The program provides the following options for publishing a project:
If your drawings use Truetype text fonts, the text is searchable within a PDF file. Text objects using SHX fonts are drawn as graphics and are not searchable when output to a PDF file.
When you publish to PDF, check the option Substitute TrueType fonts for SHX fonts to substitute TrueType fonts for SHX fonts. This substitution is used for the PDF output and does not change the font used on the drawing. The font mapping file, acade.fmp, controls which TrueType font is substituted for a particular SHX font. The default location for acade.fmp is C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD Electrical {version}\{release}\{country code}\Support\. Edit this file with a text editor to modify the font mapping.
The Truetype font may not be an exact match for the SHX font and can look slightly different in the PDF output. TrueType fonts are not substituted for Big Fonts. Text using Big Fonts is not searchable in the PDF file.
Publishing to PDF provides options for including hyperlinks and bookmarks when publishing to a multi-sheet file.
If you select to include bookmarks, the following are included in the PDF:
If you select to include hyperlinks, the following links are added:

The Zoom factor controls how close the PDF file is zoomed in when you click a hyperlink and are taken to the corresponding object. The zoom factor is calculated as a percentage of the object's size. A Zoom factor value of 50 means the object is shown at half its PDF object size. A zoom factor value of 100 means the object fills the PDF screen. Enter an integer from 1 through 100.
