To Turn off Automatic Property Management

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. Click the AM:Standards tab.
3. In the Standard Elements list, double-click the name of the Standard (the root node of the tree). The Standard Settings dialog box appears.
4. Clear the Let AutoCAD Mechanical manage object properties check box.
5. Dismiss the warning message that appears.
6. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
