To Create a Construction Line at a Preset Distance From a Selected Line

1. Click Home tabConstruction panelConstruction Lines. Find
2. In the Construction Lines dialog box, select
3. Select an xline, a ray, or a line.
4. Specify an insertion point, or enter a distance value.
5. If you entered a distance value in step 4, specify the side to offset the construction line from the base line.

Note:

The construction line is drawn at the preset distance from the selected line.
