To Insert a Hatch on a Shaft Segment

To use this option, you must have inserted a shaft segment.

1. In the Shaft Generator dialog box, select the Hatch View icon.
2. Specify an internal point.
3. In the Type dialog box, select the hatch type and enter values for the spacing and the hatch angle.
4. Press Enter.

Note:

• The hatch is inserted when you close the Shaft Generator dialog box.
• If a break is inserted, you can specify whether the shaft is to be hatched before or after the break.
• In the case of a half section, inserted break lines will not be considered.
