Properties for Shape Instances

This page describes the properties for shape instances exposed in the eRnsT interface. Shape instances are the elements in the geometry that makes up your scene.

Light Mapping

The settings in the Light Mapping group control the way lighting values are stored in lightmaps for the different objects in your scene.

Mapping Type Determines how the lightmap for this shape instance is baked.
  • None disables the baking of lightmaps for this shape instance.
  • If you choose vertex mapping, no other settings are read from this group.
  • If you choose texture mapping, you can use the Resolution X and Resolution Y settings to tweak the resolution of the texture.

Resolution X Sets the resolution of the lightmap on the X axis. Read only when the Mapping Type setting is set to Texture Mapping. Yes
