This release contains several minor bug fixes, listed below.

Beast API

  • Fixed a permissions problem for the bin directory when running a distributed job.
  • Fixed light ID mismatches between the API and eRnsT for sky lights and volume lights.
  • Fixed a problem with GUID assignment for lights created using the Beast API during a live eRnsT session.
  • Fixed a problem with files being opened as non-sharable on Windows.
  • Fixed an assert for an uninitialized GUID in CreateLightSourceMessage().

eRnsT

  • Fixed a potential crash with negative lightmap UVs.
  • Fixed a problem with the spot light cone visualization in the eRnsT editor.

Rendertool

  • Fixed a bug that caused post-processing on split jobs.

LiquidLight

  • Fixed a bug that made spot light gobo sampling dependent on UV sets and spot placement.
  • Fixed bugs with ramps on point lights and spot lights.
  • Fixed shadow sampling in spot lights so that areas outside the light cone are considered to be in shadow.
  • Fixed shadow calculation bug that caused the specified default axis to be ignored for area lights.
