Importing a TIN file creates a surface object on which you can perform all the standard data operations and editing. The import operation is displayed as the operation type Import Surface. See About the Surface Definition.
You can use this command to import a TIN file from an Autodesk Land Desktop project. To import the TIN file, the accompanying PNT point file must exist in the same source directory.
The surface name is displayed under the Surfaces collection in the Prospector tree. For information about adding data to the surface, see About Adding and Editing Surface Data.
