You can specify certain settings that determine how the loop point (attachment point) for a subassembly is drawn in layout mode.
The following two loop point properties can be viewed and specified using the Properties palette.
Property | Descripton |
---|---|
Default Loop In Layout Mode | Specifies if the first or last point in the subassembly is used as the loop point in the subassembly. You may want to set this property to First or Last depending on how you want additional subassemblies to attach by default. |
Default Loop Offset in Layout Mode | Specifies an offset distance for the loop pointsubassembly in layout mode. You can enter a numeric value (10 = default) or use the AutoCAD QuickCalc calculator to enter an equation or variable. |
Daylight subassemblies make use of the Default Loop Offset in Layout Mode property, but the Default Loop In Layout Mode property is not applicable for saylight subassemblies.
Subassemblies that define components with shapes, such as curbs and lanes, make use of the Default Loop In Layout Mode property but not the Default Loop Offset in Layout Mode property.
