Create Pressure Pipe Network Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to enter the initial pressure network creation parameters such as a name, optional description, parts list, layers, and more.

You can also select a reference surface and/or an alignment to associate with the pressure network, as well as styles for pressure network labels.

Network Name

Specifies the name of the pressure network. Each pressure network must have a unique name.

Opens the Name Template dialog box, where you can modify the pressure network naming template.

Network Description

Specifies an optional description for the pressure network.

Parts List

Specifies the parts list associated with this pressure network. For more information, see To Work With Pressure Network Parts Lists.

Layers

Opens the Pressure Network Layers dialog box, where you can assign various views of the pressure network components to specific layers in the drawing.

Surface Name

Specifies the reference surface associated with this pressure network. The surface is used as elevational data for the pressure network. If you do not assign the surface here, you can select one from the Pressure Network Plan Layout ribbon tab later.

Alignment Name
Specifies the reference alignment associated with this pressure network.
Note: This alignment is used for the purposes of labeling the pressure network with station and offset information. If you do not assign the alignment here, you can select one from the Pressure Network Plan Layout ribbon tab later. The reference alignment may be the same alignment you associate with the pressure network for purposes of viewing and editing the pressure network in profile view, but it is not required that it is the same.

Pressure Pipe Label Style, Fitting Label Style, Appurtenance Label Style

Style List

Displays the current style. Click the arrow to display the label styles in the drawing available for selection.

Style Selection

Specifies the style options. Create a new style, copy or edit the current style selection, or pick a style from the drawing.

Style Detail

Opens the Style Detail dialog box, where you can preview the style and creation information.
