To Work With Catchments

To edit catchment properties

Use the Catchment Properties dialog box to specify a reference pipe network structure for a catchment, the runoff coefficient, the time of concentration method, and the catchment style.

  1. Click a catchment. Click Catchment tab Modify panel Catchment Properties Edit Catchment Properties.
  2. Use the Catchment Properties dialog box to review and change properties.

To edit catchment feature settings

Specify default settings for catchments in the feature and command settings.

These settings are described in Catchment Feature Settings Dialog Box.

To access the catchment feature settings

  1. In Toolspace, on the Settings tab, right-click the Catchment collection Edit Feature Settings.

To access the catchment command settings

  1. In Toolspace, on the Settings tab, expand the Catchment Commands collection.
  2. Right-click a command name and click Edit Command Settings.

To edit catchment styles

Catchment styles control the display of catchment boundary and flow path, as well as the marker styles for the catchment and flow path points.

You can specify unique marker styles to mark the discharge point, hydraulically most distant point, and flow segment start points.

  1. Click a catchment. Click Catchment tab Modify panel Catchment Properties Edit Catchment Style.
  2. Use the Catchment Style dialog box to edit the style.
