If a factory layout is already open, use the following method:

New Layout from DWG dialog box | Select or browse to the 2D DWG file to use for the new layout. |
Pop-up context menu commands (right-click over the DWG browser node to access):
Update | There is associativity between the 2D drawing and the 3D factory layout. If any revisions occur to the original drawing file, you can read the changes back into Inventor Factory using the Update command. |
Layer Settings | Toggles drawing layer visibility on and off using the Layer Settings dialog box. |
Open Overlay in AutoCAD | Launches AutoCAD and opens the DWG from which the factory layout was created. Make any required changes, save the drawing, and use the Update command to update the factory layout. |
Break Link | Breaks the associative link between the 2D drawing and the 3D factory layout. |
