Once an Item has placed on the drawing all its properties can still be changed. This option allows the User to change all aspects of an Item without needing to delete and re-draw it.
When an item needs to de altered to accommodate changes in a drawing or changes to the preferred method of manufacture.
Editing the Item
- Draw one or more Items using any of the drawing methods available in CADmep.
- Click the Edit an Object icon
. - Click on the edge of the Item to edit.
From the Edit Item dialogue above, any of the Items settings can be changed. This method can only be used on single Items, Multiple Items can be edited by using the Change Object Properties command.
Note: When editing multiple Items not all Item options may be available as with the single Item Edit.
