3D Polyline Fill

TOOLBAR COMMAND LINE LFILL SHIFT/RIGHT CLICK Polyline 3D Fill

In is simplest form the LFILL command allows the user to select a 3D Polyline as a path for a Duct/Pipe Fill to follow.

Procedure

1. Type 3DPOLY at the command line, draw a polyline similar to the example shown below

   

2. Type LFILL at the command line, the command line now prompts for the selection of objects.

3. Select the polyline to prompt the Fill Start Options dialogue.

4. Use the settings shown below to select the desired Service, Section, the type of duct (Round, Rectangular or Oval), in this case Rectangular and the required size.

   

5. Click OK.

   The General Supply Duct follows the path of the polyline from start to finish.

The LFILL command can provide a quick effective way of routing:

1. Define the route using the 3DPOLY command.

   

2. Using the LFILL command select the polyline.

   

3. Select the required Fill Start Options.
