If you are located physically within the real-world bounds of the current scenario, you can use Augmented Reality to see the scenario overlaid on your immediate surroundings.
Augmented Reality is available whether you have wireless access or not. If you do not have wireless access, you cannot use the GPS-based features of Augmented Reality. Instead, use the compass and gyroscope features to orient your position within the scenario.
- In iPad settings, turn on Location Services.
- In the mobile app, Tap
. - Under Augmented Reality, select one of the following:
- Position And Orientation : To find your current location, use the GPS and gyroscope features built into your iPad, as well as compass settings. With this option, GPS information is used to supply the background to your model, replacing sky areas. This option is not available if you are outside the bounds of the scenario.
- Orientation : Use the compass and gyroscope settings only. Use this option if you cannot access GPS.
Use Show Camera Live View, in Advanced Settings, to supply the background if you are at the same location as the scenario.
Note: To display an overview map of your immediate area Turn on Show Map in Settings.
