Informational Routines

The subroutine interfaces presented here are routines that you may call.

Utility routines are supplied to submit errors and perform other common tasks. Most routines are used to access more information about a material, i.e., obtaining the strength values of the material. See Building on Windows and Building on Linux for instructions on building the subroutine for use with Simulation Composite Analysis.

Each routine has a name with a common prefix of ASCA. Routines with a plain prefix of ASCA_ can be called from any user subroutine. Those with a prefix of ASCA2_ can only be called from user subroutines for unidirectional composites and likewise for woven composites and routines with an ASCA3_ prefix.

Note: Autodesk reserves the right to change any of these interfaces in future versions of Simulation Composite Analysis. You should always check the appropriate documentation for any noted changes.
