Language Packs and Revit Deployments

If users need access to multilingual user interfaces in Revit, you can install one or more language packs on each system. For background information, see Language Packs for Revit.

However, you cannot include language packs as part of a Revit deployment. Instead, you create a separate deployment for each language pack. After deploying the Revit software to target computers, you can then deploy the Revit language packs.

To create a deployment for a language pack

  1. Download a language pack from www.autodesk.com/revit-languagepacks.
  2. Double-click the language pack's EXE file to run it.
  3. Browse to the desired destination folder, and click Extract.

When the files are extracted, the language pack installation process starts automatically.

  4. In the installation window, click Create Deployment.
  5. On the Create Deployment > Configure page, provide the requested information and click Next.

For details, see To Create a Deployment.

  6. On the next page, click Create.

To deploy language packs for multiple languages, create a batch file to install a series of language packs on each computer.
