Unfold sketch with sheet metal feature

Unfold one or more sheet metal bends or rolls relative to a reference face.

Use this procedure on a sheet metal model that has at least one sketch created on the face of a folded feature:

1. On the ribbon, click Sheet Metal tab Modify panel Unfold .
2. Click a face or plane to use as the unfold reference.
3. Click individual highlighted bends or rolls to unfold. To select all the geometry highlighted, use Add All Bends, and then use CTRL+click to remove bends or rolls from the selection.
4. Preview the flattened state, and add or delete bends or rolls to obtain the required flat.
5. To select sketches, click the Sketches arrow, and select any unconsumed sketches to unfold.
6. To control display of the parent sketch following the unfold, select or clear Parent is Visible.
7. Click OK.

An Unfold feature is added to your sheet metal part browser.
