Create symmetrical flange in sheet metal

Create a symmetrical flange identical to an existing face.

Use the Mirror, or Flange command to create a symmetrical flange identical to an existing face.

The following is the workflow using the Flange command. You create the second flange before creating another flange of a different shape.

1. Create a flange set to mirror in the same direction.
   
2. Turn on the visibility of the work plane that is perpendicular to the flange.
   
3. Select Features in the Mirror dialog box. Select all of the features that you want to mirror, and then select the work plane.
   
4. Result.
   
5. Create the next flange set to mirror in the same direction.
   
6. Repeat Step 2.
   
7. Repeat Step 3.
   
8. Result.
