Apply cut on sheet metal face

Remove material from a face in a sheet metal part.

To begin, sketch a profile that represents the shape of the material you want to remove.

  3. Under Extents, click the down arrow and select the method to terminate the extrusion:
    • Distance On the Thickness drop-down list, click the method to determine the thickness. Click a direction for the cut.
