Lengthen/Shorten
Extension Type specifies the member to lengthen or retract, the extent of the change, and the distance to extend or retract.

- Specifies a frame member to lengthen or shorten.
- Lengthen - Shorten buttons
- Defines the placement of the extension or retraction:
Lengthen-Shorten Frame Member at one end. 
Lengthen-Shorten Frame Member at both ends. - Extension
- Selects or enters a length to extend (a positive number) or retract (a negative number) the frame member.
- Delete existing end treatments
- When selected, deletes the existing end treatments on the lengthened or shortened end before the command is executed. Note: The pick point controls which end of the frame member is lengthened or shortened. The command fails if there are already some other end treatments on extending/retracting end.
