Create a flat model representation, and then switch between a folded and flat pattern.
Browser method

- When in a flattened state, in the browser, double-click the Folded Model node to return to the folded state.

- When in a folded state, in the browser, double-click the Flat Pattern node to return to the flattened state.
In this workflow, the sheet metal part opens in a new window with the flat pattern active. Save and Close to return to the assembly.
Ribbon method
- Go to Flat Pattern
- In the folded model state, to enter an existing flat pattern, click Sheet Metal tab
Flat Pattern panel Go to Flat Pattern. - Go to Folded Part
- In the flat pattern state, to return to the folded model, click Flat Pattern tab Folded Part panel Go to Folded Part.
