Create a flat pattern cosmetic centerline

  1. Working in the Flat Pattern model state, create a sketch on the flattened face.
  2. Place line geometry within the sketch representing the reqquired bend centerlines.
  3. Dimension and constrain the lines.
  4. Exit sketch.
  5. On the ribbon, click Flat Pattern tab Create panel Cosmetic Centerline .
  6. Select one or more straight lines in the sketch that all share the same bend attributes.
  7. Optionally, in the Cosmetic Centerlines dialog box, Information Type drop-down list, click Press Brake, Crease, or None.
  8. If necessary, edit the information displayed in Bend Angle, Radius, or Unfold Rule.
  9. Click OK.
