Reuse and Change Reuse dialog boxes

Access

On the ribbon, Design tab, click Reuse , or click Change Reuse .

Reuse defines the frame member to reuse. Change Reuse defines edits to the frame member or members to reuse.

Source Member

Selects the frame member to reuse. Not available for Change Reuse.

Placement (applies only to Reuse)

Inserts the member on edge.

Inserts the member between points

and

Specifies the start placement point and the end placement point.

Includes or excludes centerlines or construction lines from selection. Select a check box to include, or clear to exclude.

Select (applies only to Change Reuse)

Select

Specifies the reuse member for edit.

Multi-Select

Specifies selection of multiple frame members.

Reverses member direction.

Appearance

Specifies the appearance of the selected frame member.

Orientation

A preview of the frame member displays. The radio buttons you select position the frame member in the assembly. The Vertical and Horizontal Offsets, and Mirror Frame Member adjust accordingly. For precise offsets:

Enter or select a value for vertical offset to offset the frame member from the model.

Enter or select a value for horizontal offset.

Enter or select an angle of rotation to orient the frame member.

Align Select to specify geometry (a planar face, linear edge, work axis, work plane, or sketch line) from which to align the inserted frame.

Mirror Frame Member Flips the frame member orientation on the skeletal model. Not available if you select Align.
