Sheet metal fold reference

Defines the fold in a sheet metal face along a sketched line that terminates at face edges.

The Shape tab provides options to control the shape of the fold you create.

Access

Bend Line

Specifies the sketch line to use as the fold line. The sketch line endpoints must lie on an edge otherwise the line cannot be selected as a bend line.

Flip Controls

Flip Side

Changes the side of the bend line to fold up or down.

Flip Direction

Changes the up/down direction of the fold.

Fold Location

Centerline of Bend

Specifies the sketch line as the centerline of the bend.

Start of Bend or End of Bend or

Specifies the sketch line that is the start or end of the bend.

Fold Angle

Specifies the angle to apply to the fold.

Bend Radius

Specifies the radius of the bend. Uses the default value specified by the current sheet metal style unless you enter a specific value.

Tip: On the drop-down list for Fold Angle and Bend Radius, you can select Measure, Show Dimensions, or Parameter List to obtain a value from the model.
