Work with table-driven iFeatures

You can edit the table to edit table-driven iFeatures.

Edit iFeature table

  1. Open the iFeature file.
  2. Start the iFeature Author.
  3. Edit the table.

Edit table-driven iFeature

  1. In a part file with a table-driven iFeature, right-click the table icon, and then click Edit Table.
  2. Add or delete rows, or modify column attributes.

    Your changes affect only the current table-driven iFeature. Other instances of the same table-driven iFeature do not update

Note: You cannot add or delete parameters.

Assign unique browser name to iFeature row

  1. In Application options, iFeature tab, in Browser Name, enable option Use Key 1 as browser name column. Then you can provide a unique identity for a table-driven iFeature
  2. In a part file with a table-driven iFeature, use the Key 1 value name to identify a specific characteristic of an iFeature.

Use table-driven iFeature in iPart table

  1. In an iPart file, insert a table-driven iFeature.
  2. In the table, iFeatures tab, add an iFeatures column. You can specify the iFeature value to use in each row. You can choose to compute or suppress the iFeature on a row by row basis

Create custom properties in iFeature files

  1. In a part file, insert an iFeature.
  2. In the Custom iProperties tab of the part, add custom properties for the iFeature.

    If you create a drawing of the part, the custom iFeature properties are available in the drawing.
