Bend part using bend plane

Create a bend in a part.

1. To begin, establish the bend plane. Either:
   • Create a part, and position a work plane.

     or

   • Sketch a parting line on a part face, or work plane.

   Bend Part requires both:

   • a consumed sketch (such as an extruded face,)

     and

   • a sketch that is visible, and unadaptive (such as line sketched across the extruded face).
2. On the ribbon, click 3D Model tab Modify panel Bend Part .
3. Create a bend based on one of the following options: Click the down-arrow to change the selection:
   • Radius + Angle
   • Radius + Arc Length
   • Arc Length + Angle
4. Click the side control to change the side of the bend line on which the part is bent.
5. To preview the bend, ensure that the Preview feature control is turned on.
6. Click OK to apply the bend.
