Provides options to apply to files selected for the Update Design task.
- Access
- In the Update Design dialog box, select a file, and then click Options.
- Total Rebuild
- Specifies a total rebuild of the model when the design is updated.
- Skip Migrated Files
- Omits previously migrated files from the update design operation.
- Skip Files with Unresolved References
- Skips files with unresolved references, and does not stop the update design operation.
- Include Assembly Graphics for Express Mode
- Controls whether to save graphics in the assembly when updating assembly documents. Saving graphics allows Express workflows. Turned off by default. Option is also available in Migration Options dialog box.
- Set Defer Update On Drawings
- Sets defer updates on drawings.
- Make all Raster drawing views Precise
- When selected, converts all raster views to precise views when you execute the Update Design task.
Note: When specifying a folder, the File Name column provides control to filter to the type of files you want to perform the selected task on.
It is recommended to select .idw/.dwg when converting raster to precise.
Please note that Skip migrated file and Skip unresolved references will filter these conditions out of the task.
- Update Local Materials And Appearances
- When selected, updates all local materials and appearance automatically to the selected library in the active project.
- Compact
- Purge Old Versions saves only the updated design. Old versions are deleted.
Compact Model History compacts the model history.
