Derived Alias reference

Use this dialog box to select the Alias .wire items you want included in your Inventor file.

Access:

For new files - in the Open or Import dialog boxes: Set the Files of type to *.wire. Select or browse to the file. Click Options. For existing files - in the browser: Right-click the .wire node that represents the imported objects. Select Edit Derived Alias.
