Resolution of file search

Autodesk Inventor LT searches for referenced files using the paths defined by the application options.

A file reference stored in an Autodesk Inventor LT file is either a:

• File name
• Subfolder location (if required)

When you open a file, Autodesk Inventor LT searches for components in the following order:

• work path.
• The folder containing the file.
